Introduction

High voltage Cap and pin insulator made of wet process porcelain and used in transmission and distribution of electrical energy. A Cap and pin insulator is an assembly of one or more shells with metallic cap and pin having means for direct and rigid mounting. The entire porcelain surface of insulators that will be exposed after assembly shall be glazed. The entire porcelain surface shall be relatively free from imperfections.
